After serving in the Navy with two tours in Vietnam, James attended local business schools with a focus in accounting and information technology.
He began working in the computer field in 1971 and in 1996 acquired Dataprep, Inc. a computer service bureau.
While providing computer forensics to local attorneys, he realized there was a need for parents to protect their family from internet predators and identity theft.
